What Does Your Next Step Look Like?
Each role on our Consulting Track offers distinct learning, development, and leadership opportunities. You’ll find standardized responsibilities across all offices, ensuring clarity and fairness in every promotion.
As an intern at Inverto, you’re part of the team from day one. You’ll contribute to real client projects, support data analysis, and gain hands-on insight into procurement consulting. Expect a steep learning curve and early exposure to how first analyses turns into implementation.
You lead entire client engagements and manage interdisciplinary teams. From project planning to stakeholder alignment and final implementation, you take full responsibility for success. You’re also involved in talent development, expanding existing client relationships, and internal initiatives. This includes business development activities in your Practice Area or Center of Excellence, depending on your area of expertise.
This is where your consulting career takes off. You’ll support workstreams, dive deep into data, and collaborate closely with experienced colleagues to drive measurable impact. You’ll build core consulting skills while shaping tangible outcomes for clients.
As a Principal, you drive client relationships, shape long-term strategies, and lead high-impact programs. You contribute to business development, expand our capabilities, and influence how we grow as a firm. Your leadership is both strategic and entrepreneurial.
As a Consultant, you take ownership of project modules and client deliverables. You’ll manage tasks independently, deepen your expertise, and collaborate closely with client teams – including contributing to meeting preparation and participating in operational discussions. With each project, your impact becomes more visible and your responsibilities grow.
In this top leadership role, you set direction, both for clients and for Inverto. You guide key accounts, develop the next generations of talent, and strengthen our position in the market. Your work shapes the future of procurement and supply chain transformation globally.
At this level, you lead workstreams, coach junior team members, and serve as a trusted point of contact for clients. You’ll combine analytical rigor with leadership and start shaping project direction. It’s a pivotal role in building your path toward project ownership.

We know that finding the right role is a big step, so we keep our process clear, focused, and respectful of your time. Our structured interview process helps us get to know you and helps you understand us.
The number of interview stages varies by position, but for most consulting roles, you can expect 2–3 rounds. These may include case discussions, presentations, or technical assessments. For more senior roles, additional steps may be included to ensure the right fit.
