Lars-Peter Häfele is New Managing Director at INVERTO

New Managing Director is an expert in industry and raw materials

Cologne, July 4, 2018. Lars-Peter Häfele has been appointed Managing Director at INVERTO, the consultancy specializing in procurement and supply chain management. INVERTO, which is part of the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), has a management team that now comprises nine members. Häfele is an expert in industry and raw materials. He works in INVERTO’s Munich office, which is one of a total of six company locations.

Lars-Peter Häfele studied in Ingolstadt, Germany and Denver, Colorado and graduated with a degree in business administration. The 35-year-old started working for INVERTO in 2009 as a consultant in Cologne and was formerly Principal and Head of the Competence Center for Industrial Goods. Häfele supports well-known companies in the industrial and automotive sectors with their strategic procurement and implements comprehensive cost optimization programs for them. In particular, he is an expert in developing technical approaches such as value analyses, product redesigns, target costing programs and auctions.

Häfele is also responsible for the annual raw materials study, in which INVERTO asks decision makers about changes in raw material costs and supply security.
