A Special Machinery Manufacturer with over 6000 employees and 1.2 billion euros in annual revenue faced challenges after being carved out from its parent company, including cultural change, uncertainty for employees, and lack of processes and IT solutions. A 3-year restructuring program with 5 workstreams involving over 15 consultants from Inverto locations worldwide was implemented.
By restructuring the decentralized procurement division into a centralized organization and introducing new IT systems, the project generated savings of over 70 million euros and increased working capital. This comprehensive approach led to a successful implementation, making the company independent and profitable.
