What’s your story, Myles?

Hello, who are you and what brought you to INVERTO?

Hello, my name is Myles. I was born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

I began my academic journey by pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Supply Chain and Information Systems Management at Pennsylvania State University. During my studies, I completed an internship as a Blockchain Consultant at Ernst & Young (EY).

After earning my degree, I joined SKF (Svenska Kullagerfabriken) as a Business Analyst in their North American vehicle aftermarket division. At SKF, I worked on various projects within the Ball Bearing and Steering & Suspension sectors. I played an active role in transforming the company’s procurement operating model, optimizing delivery lead times, and improving spend management.

During my university years, I enjoyed playing basketball, going to the gym, and learning French, which I continue to practice in my free time. In January 2024, I joined INVERTO following the opening of their new Chicago office. This opportunity allows me to deepen my procurement and supply chain expertise within a strategic firm, while being energized by the company’s exceptional corporate culture.

What are you doing at INVERTO?

I am a Consultant in INVERTO’s Chicago office, where I have been supporting the procurement excellence program for the indirect spend of a radiation technology client.

What makes INVERTO a good employer for you?

What makes INVERTO an exceptional employer is the opportunity to work across diverse industries while collaborating with a highly motivated, intelligent, and skilled team.

What do you spend most of your time doing when you’re not working? Which hobbies or interests do you pursue outside of work?

When I’m not working, I spend most of my time staying active. I enjoy going to the gym, running outdoors, and playing basketball with friends. Over the past year, I’ve also started learning French, which has become a major focus of my free time lately. While I still dedicate time to fitness, I now spend much of my spare time improving my French skills.

Do you have a favorite placeand why is it your favorite?

I have two favorite travel destinations. The first is the beach—every summer, my family and I visit the New Jersey shore in Avalon, where we spend all day by the water. My other favorite place is London. I love visiting my mother there and enjoy the beautiful scenery and countless activities the city offers. It has truly become a second home for me.

What is your favorite way to give back or contribute to your community?

My favorite way to give back to the community is through my involvement with the Green Team in our Chicago office. The Green Team is a sustainability-focused group, and one of the ways we contribute is by organizing volunteer events. We clean up trash and plant trees and flowers in local parks and along the beaches, helping to improve and preserve our environment.
