What’s your story Clememtine?

Hello, who are you and what brought you to INVERTO?

My name is Clementine, and though I was born in France, I’ve spent much of my life abroad in places like Australia, China, and South Korea.

I studied management and Chinese at EDHEC Business School, followed by a master’s in management at London Business School. During my studies, I seized opportunities to travel and gain international experience through exchanges and internships in Beijing, Munich, and Hong Kong.

I’ve always been fascinated by operations and supply chain. While pursuing my master’s, I became increasingly drawn to consulting for its dynamic and diverse challenges. Around that time, I decided to specialize in supply chain management. The course, combined with insights from an inspiring professor and guest speakers, convinced me to explore a career in this field. I first learned about INVERTO through a friend in their Paris office, and it immediately felt like the perfect blend of my interests. After applying to the London office, I was impressed by the team during the interview process—and the rest is history!

What are you doing at INVERTO?

I’m currently a Senior Consultant in the London office, where I’ve had the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across the energy, healthcare, and consumer goods sectors. My experience covers everything from short diagnostic “opportunity analyses” for various companies to long-term implementation projects, including tenders, negotiations, and should-costing exercises.

What makes INVERTO a good employer for you?

I chose INVERTO for several reasons. First—and what most people will tell you—is the incredible people. I’ve built strong friendships here and work alongside a truly diverse and international team, both in the London office and across INVERTO.

Second, the level of responsibility we’re given early on was a major draw for me. Through hands-on training, ownership of projects, and regular feedback, you can progress quickly—exactly what I was looking for in my first role.

Lastly, INVERTO’s partnership with BCG provides the opportunity to work with fascinating clients and learn from colleagues around the world, which has been an invaluable experience.

What’s at the top of your bucket list?

I’ve traveled extensively throughout my life, but I’ve never gone on a proper solo backpacking trip. It’s something I definitely want to experience—no matter where it takes me!

Do you have a favorite placeand why is it your favorite?

I was fortunate to spend six months in Hong Kong for an internship during my bachelor’s. I fell in love with the city’s incredible diversity—within 30 minutes, you can find yourself in the mountains, on stunning islands, or in the heart of a bustling metropolis. The energy and vibrancy of Hong Kong really captivated me.

How do you stay motivated during challenging times in your professional journey?

I’m lucky to have a strong support system both at work and in my personal life, which keeps me motivated during challenging times. I also believe that the toughest moments offer the greatest learning opportunities, and I welcome the chance to keep growing. These experiences are always incredibly rewarding.
